Christobal uses the human identity of Morgan Gavin. He is one of the oldest satyrs in Goldengate . There are rumors that he used to sympathesize with (or even belong to) the Oakland People's Front. He is good friends with Johnnie Johnson and the two are often seen in each other's company, but never romantically. Christobal, unlike his partner Lucio, doesn't seem to care much about the gender of his human or kithain lovers, as long as they provide him with glamour .
As a greybeard burdened with too much banality , Christobal is forced to stay inside the Temple or other Haight freeholds as much as he dares without risking bedlam . He's reached the first threshold a number of times already; it always brings out his dark unseelie side and makes him violent to the point of dangerous.
Christobal & Lucio[]
When Lucio was knighted by Duchess Aliera and given the freehold that had belonged to his former lover, Sir Tracey, Christobal was one of the first satyrs to join the Temple. Together, he and Christobal opened Club Eros and shaped The Temple to become a "Palace of Passion" for the other satyrs of Goldengate. The two of them fight viciously and share a physical love that is breathtaking (and perhaps terrifying) to behold. Polygamous by nature, they draw in a number of others into a social dynamic that outsiders sometimes call "the best soap opera in the Haight".
